The Sutherland School of Law

Ranked one of the Top 100 Universities in the World for Law, UCD Sutherland School of Law is the leading centre for legal education and research in Ireland. The School is housed in the state-of-the-art Sutherland School of Law building, Ireland's first purpose-built law school, which opened in 2013.

Alumni of UCD Sutherland School of Law have held all of the highest legal and political offices in Ireland, including Chief Justice, Attorney General, Director of Public Prosecutions, Taoiseach and Tánaiste.
